Duke Jets By Cal 68-53

Duke Jets By Cal 68-53

Duke used it’s size inside and stiff defense to put away Cal and former Dukie Jamal Boykin. It was nice to see Jamal doing well and starting. He was a fan favorite in Cameron. He has beefed up and acquired a jumpshot to go along with his already dive-on-the-floor, do anything for team nature. Jamal played well with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort. Duke  gave the Bears a heavy...

Duke Moves on, Takes Out Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 73-44

As expected Duke moved to the round of 32 without much trouble form AK-Pine Bluff. Duke was led by Kyle Singlers 22 points and 10 rebounds. Duke was able to attack the 3 point line but also pound it inside against the smaller team. Duke used a 37-22 rebounding edge to limit AKPB to one and done on defense and to recycle possessions on offense. The important things I took from this game were the q...

Carrick is a 6-6, 20...

Duke 2010 ACC Tournament Champs !

Duke 2010 ACC Tournament Champs !

A team that should have been weary came out with energy, aggression and they believed that they were going to win this game…and they nearly did. Congrats to Georgia Tech, I would hope that the performance by this team should secure Paul Hewitts job. He is a good coach, and in this tourn...
