The mantras for Mason Plumlee will be consistency and urgency. This is his team, and it will only go as far as this newly anointed Team Captain will take them. Mason used this offseason to work on his game and comes in hungry and ready to lead and leave his mark on Duke University.

Mason has expanded his game going into the 2013 season to include a mid-range jump shot to complement his array of hook shots around the basket. Becoming more of a threat on offense and being a consistent factor for the Blue Devils is the most important thing for Mason entering this season. Coming back for his senior year was a decision not made lightly and Duke and Mason should benefit from his decision.
