Here is a little information on two Power Forward prospects that Duke is currently interested in for next year per my conversation with Alex Kline from http://www.TheRecruitScoop.com.

Gavin Schilling is a versatile big man and still growing at 6’9. Currently working on getting stronger in preparation for college ball. Has a high basketball IQ and sense of the game. He also runs the floor well.

Matthew Atewe is a skilled 4, with a big body. Really defensive minded, runs the floor well and can finish at the rim. Still raw and developing on the offensive end.

Alex Kline is the 18-year old National Recruiting Analyst of The Recruit Scoop on Rivals.com. He runs the Mary Kline Classic, a Cancer Research All-Star Event.

The Mary Kline Classic is a charity high school basketball all-star event put on in honor of the late Mary Kline, as well as anyone else who has lost their life to, or is currently battling, any form of cancer. The one-day event, which will be hosted on Sunday, June 2nd at Philadelphia University, features an underclassmen game (top sophomores & juniors), senior game, shooting skills competition, three-point shootout and slam dunk contest.

All proceeds raised go towards the National Brain Tumor Society. Over the past two years, the MKC has raised a total of $28,000 for cancer research. This event is a way for high school basketball players to show that they play for a purpose and are not one dimensional. The objective is for this community outreach to show how powerful the game of high school basketball has become in order to raise awareness, as well as funds, for cancer research.

This years lineup of players should be an excellent group of talented young men. Last year’s event featured Rondae Jefferson, Wayne Selden, Austin Colbert, Davon Reed, Reggie Cameron, Josh Brown, Jaren Sina, Tyler Ennis, Tyler Roberson, Isaiah Briscoe, Karl Towns, Ja’Quan Newton, Ben Bentil, Abdul-Malik Abu, Jared Terrell and more. A total of 48 players in total will be selected for what will be a powerful night of basketball.

Players will be selected based on their talent, level of play, character, personality, family and desire to play in the event.
