The Blue Devils have secured their first commit of the 2020 class in 6’2, 180lb point guard Jeremy Roach. Roach out of Paul VI High School, in Fairfax, VA is a top 15 prospect and the number 3 rated point guard in the class and will be the heir apparent to current Blue Devil guard Tre Jones. Duke is going to need a pretty hefty class to offset what will probably be a mass exodus next year and Roach could be the domino that gets the ball rolling in the class.

Roach has an advanced ability as a playmaker and shot maker, a high-level athlete and an exceptional handle. Talent will want to play with Roach and he’s no stranger to playing with talent and is the perfect first piece to a class that will need to add some alpha’s.

Roach held offers from Villanova, UNC, Virginia and Maryland.
