It’s very easy to be impressed with Derryck Thornton’s handle, he is mesmerizing to watch but his game goes beyond the flash. Derryck couples his excellent handle with great court vision and an ability to get the ball into the basket. Thornton has added much to his game since the first time I saw him play, his mid-range and 3 point shooting ability has improved tremendously which makes him a very tough cover. Lay off of Thornton and he will knock down the shot, play him too close and he very well can blow by most defenders.
