Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils secured another commitment and the first in the 2023 class in point guard Caleb Foster. Foster is a top 15 point guard out of Oak Hill in Virginia an goes 6’5 and roughly 185lbs. Foster becomes future coach head coach Scheyers 4th commit in his first few months of being named head coach in waiting. Foster is a playmaker that also has the ability to knock down jumpshots, he has the ideal basketball IQ you want in your point guard and still has time to improve. One word I hear a lot from people in regard to his play on the court is patient, Caleb doesn’t feel like he needs to be in a hurry and plays at his own pace. It’s a huge get to begin the 2023 class for Scheyer and the Blue Devils. Foster had offers from Texas, Louisville and Stanford among others.
Duke will set their sites on Mackenzie Mgbako, a 5 star big man in the 2023 class whom the Blue Devils have made their primary target.
