Tickets for 2014 State Farm Champions Classic on Sale Monday
DURHAM, N.C. — Tickets for the 2014 State Farm Champions Classic will go on sale through Ticketmaster Monday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. ET. The fourth annual neutral-site men’s basketball doubleheader – to be played Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis – features preseason-ranked No. 18 Michigan State vs. No. 2 Duke at 7 p.m., followed by No. 10 Kansas vs. No. 1 Kentucky at 9 p.m.
Ticket prices range from $47 to $252 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000 or by visiting the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office (open Mon.-Sat. from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., hours may vary on event days).
The State Farm Champions Classic features:
· Three of the top four all-time winningest men’s college basketball programs: Kentucky (first), Kansas (second) and Duke (fourth).
· A combined 17 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championships (since 1939): Kentucky (eight), Duke (four), Kansas (three) and Michigan State (two).
· A total of 25 NCAA Final Four appearances in the past 22 years: Duke (seven), Michigan State (six), Kansas (six) and Kentucky (six).
· Four of ESPN.com’s top six current coaches: No. 2 John Calipari (Kentucky), No. 3 Mike Krzyzewski (Duke), No. 4 Tom Izzo (MSU) and No. 6 Bill Self (Kansas).
