Marvin Bagley III, A 6’11 205 Power Forward from Corona Del Sol High School in Arizona, just received an offer from Duke and Coach Mike Krzyzewski. Bagley has risen up the ranks as of late and the offers have been pouring in. Bagley has offers from some heavyweights like Kentucky, Connecticut, Arizona Oregon and now the Blue Devils of Duke. Bagley is long, lean, athletic plays above the rim and is an above average shot blocker as well as low posts scorer. He also possesses a good handle for a big man as well as a good mid-range game. Here are a few highlights.
“Marvin is the best player in our state and he’s coming off a season where he dominated games at both ends of the floor. He’s a polished 6-9 player with guard and post skills. He was the hardest player for any coach to prepare for, and the fact that he meshed so well with a team loaded with talent and success (Alex Barcello, Dan Kuiper, Ty Henderson and Cassius Peat) speaks to his character, maturity and talent. If it was allowed, I’m sure Marvin would enter the NBA draft out of high school–he’s that kind of talent. But he’s a strong student as well. Duke would be a great fit.”
