The Devil of the Day in Duke’s victory over the North Carolina State Wolfpack is sophomore big man Mark Williams. Williams was tasked by the Duke coaches to be more aggressive and Williams delivered.
Against NC State Williams went off for 19 points on 9-12 shooting. Willams threw down jam after jam and when he wasn’t throwing down jams he was throwing NC State attempts at the rim. Williams blocked 8 shots, 5 over his average. Also, Williams, pulled down 11 rebounds and did all this in 26 minutes.
