Patrick Tape Decommits from the Blue Devils

As quickly as he committed Patrick Tape, a grad transfer from Columbia University, recommitted from the Blue Devils. Tape, a 6’10 Center and native of Charlotte,  would have been the first grad transfer to play for Coach K but it was not to be. Nothing has been said publicly as to why Tape decided to decommit. For Duke they have several players (Jaemyn Brakefield, Henry Coleman III) who can provide depth on the interior but none with the experience of Tape. There is still time for Duke, if they see fit, to recruit and sign players and there are still roster decisions to be made my Matthew Hurt who could also provide some interior minutes.
