The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the matchups for its 18-game men’s basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season Wednesday, completing Duke’s slate for the upcoming campaign. Duke’s 18-game ACC schedule includes home-and-away series with designated rival North Carolina and repeat opponent Virginia. The remaining 14 conference games consist of seven home-only opponents and seven road-only opponents. The Blue Devils host California, Florida State, Miami, NC State, Notre Dame, Pitt and Stanford, while traveling to Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Louisville, SMU, Syracuse and Wake Forest.
The Blue Devils open ACC play on the road Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Georgia Tech before beginning the new year with three of their next four conference games at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke hosts California on Saturday, Jan. 2, travels to Syracuse on Tuesday, Jan. 5, and returns home for consecutive contests against Pitt on Saturday, Jan. 9, and Stanford on Wednesday, Jan. 13. A stretch of three road games in four outings follows, beginning at Boston College on Saturday, Jan. 16, and continuing at Wake Forest on Wednesday, Jan. 20. Duke returns to Cameron Indoor Stadium to face Notre Dame on Saturday, Jan. 23, before closing January at Clemson on Saturday, Jan. 30.
Duke opens February with the first of two ACC Big Monday appearances on ESPN, hosting Miami on Feb. 1. The Blue Devils then embark on a two-game road swing to Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 6, and SMU on Tuesday, Feb. 9, before returning to Durham for consecutive home games against North Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 13, and Florida State on Tuesday, Feb. 16. Following its previously announced non-conference matchup against Gonzaga in Detroit on Saturday, Feb. 20, Duke resumes ACC action at Louisville on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The Blue Devils close the month at home against NC State on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The regular season concludes with the return games against Duke’s two home-and-away opponents. The Blue Devils host Virginia on ESPN Big Monday on March 1, before traveling to Chapel Hill for the regular-season finale against North Carolina on Saturday, March 6. Following the regular season, the top 15 teams in the final league standings will play in the 2027 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament, held March 9-13 at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro.
The Blue Devils’ previously announced 14-game non-conference lineup features six opponents that earned a No. 5 seed or better in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and finished among the top 25 of the final Associated Press poll, with matchups against Michigan State (Nov. 10), Illinois (Nov. 17), Connecticut (Nov. 25), Florida (Dec. 1), Texas Tech (Dec. 21) and Gonzaga (Feb. 20).
The preseason calendar begins with Countdown to Craziness on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke hosts Belmont for a scrimmage Thursday, Oct. 8, and Tennessee for an exhibition game Tuesday, Oct. 20, before traveling to Lawrence, Kansas, for an exhibition contest at Kansas on Sunday, Oct. 25.
