Here is the first in a series of Rising Stars in high school basketball, Ian Carter is 6-6, 175lb forward in the class of 2016. Hailing from Gardena, CA, Ian attends Serra High School. Duke fans may know this high school as our own Ricky Price attended there before becoming a Blue Devil.
I was able to catch up with Ian and ask him some questions and found him to be one of the more delightful and thoughtful kids I’ve spoken with. I’ve also included a couple of videos of Ian in action. He is not afraid to do the basketball dirty work and has a thirst for rebounding the basketball. Coaches dream.
