The area where Hood helps Duke the most this coming year is on the practice squad, being a tenacious defender and having a growing offensive game, Hood will make sure players like Amile Jefferson and Alex Murphy are battle tested. He can be an inside-outside guy but as you can see in the clips Rodney has the ability to get to the rim if need be, unlike the mix tapes you see, this is against division 1 competition.
