In a classic game vs Florida State Duke’s Marvin Bagley III had one of the iconic performances in Duke history. Bagley shot 13-17 from the floor on this way to 32 points. Bagley also added 21 rebounds to his stat line. Bagley could not be stopped in the paint and Duke needed every bit of the what the freshman had to offer in this game on their way to a 100-93 victory.
It is the 11th double-double for Bagley (second-most in the NCAA) at this point in the season. Marvin Bagley also set a Duke freshman game record with his 21 rebounds, surpassing the mark of 20 rebounds by Jahlil Okafor vs. Elon (12/15/14). Bagley’s 11 offensive rebounds are also a Duke freshman game record.
