Devil of the Day vs Southern | Wendell Carter Jr

Despite a less than stellar effort by the Duke Blue Devils as a team, Wendell Carter Jr. had a standout performance. Carter played 28 minutes and was able to effect the game on both ends of the floor. Carter stuffed the stat sheet against the Southern Jaguars scoring 20 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. On the defensive end Carter had a huge night as a rim protector blocking 6 shots and 8 of his 11 rebounds were defensive. Carter may not be getting the attention and hype of Marvin Bagley but he is producing and playing at very high level for the Blue Devils. He’s our Devil of the Day against Southern.
