uke head coach Jon Scheyer has announced that freshman Dariq Whitehead will dress and be available to play tonight when the No. 7 Blue Devils (2-1) host Delaware (1-1) at 7 p.m. at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Whitehead, on the Watch List for the Wooden Award and Naismith Trophy, has yet to see action for the Blue Devils after undergoing surgery on August 30 to repair a fracture in his right foot. The 6-foot-7, five-star forward from Newark, N.J., was the No. 2-rated overall player in the 2022 class and helped headline Scheyer’s first signing class that was ranked No. 1 nationally.
