Afterthoughts of MSG

By December 20, 2009No Comments

Just read the Andy Katz article and for the most part it’s spot on. The only part that caught me off guard was: “This isn’t a national title contender, but one that can certainly make some noise in March.” I’m not sure you can count out any top ten team in December any more than you can anoint a champion in December, any team who is peaking at this point should be worried. Teams have barely if at all started playing their conference schedules. I think Andy is jumping the gun just a bit on this one. Let’s just see how things play out a little first.

While Duke has had it’s issues this year and it’s limitations are apparent, no team has looked unbeatable, of course Kansas is as close as you can come but Kansas hasn’t played a team in the top 20.
