The Duke Blue Devils secure a commitment from 2021 monster power forward Paolo Banchero. Banchero is a 6’9, 235lb Washington product rated as the top forward in the class and a top 5 recruit overall. Duke beat out Kentucky, Washington, Alabama and Tennessee for his services. In Banchero Duke gets a strong physical presence down low who can step out and knock down jump shots. A gifted offensive player who has improved mightily on the defensive end as well. Good rebounder and passer who will score the basketball but also make the correct pass.
