Duke head coach Jon Scheyer has announced that freshmen Dereck Lively II and Dariq Whitehead will miss tonight’s game at Wake Forest due to non-COVID illness.

Lively has played in 11 of Duke’s 12 games this season and had started each of the last nine, averaging 4.4 points and 3.7 rebounds with 22 of the team’s 54 blocked shot. Whitehead had played in nine games and was coming off career-high efforts in each of his two games – eight points and six rebounds vs. Iowa and 15 points vs. Maryland Eastern Shore in his first career start.
