Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils garnered a commitment from 5-Star point guard Trevon Duval. Duval, the highest rated point guard in the class chose the Blue Devils over Kansas, Arizona, Baylor and Seton Hall. He joins a class that already boasts Wendell Carter, Gary Trent Jr, Alex O’Connell, Jordan Goldwire and Jordan Tucker. The commitment will allow the fans and staff alike to breathe a sigh of relief and provides some cushion now that freshmen guard Frank Jackson decided to stay in the draft.

Duval is one of the most athletic guards in the class, standing at 6’3 and 190lbs, some have made the comparison stylistically to Derrick Rose.

  1. The duke-kentucky game for the champions classic this coming season is gonna be must see.

If duke can land bamba….watch out. Id say thats the difference between a top 10 team and a top 5 team with this particular group as it stands.

I believe this duke group will have the special season that last years group should have had. I can already sense the hunger…..

  2. Coulda swore it was kentucky. I think ur right. I think it is msu. Last time we got msu was nov 2014. Good call. Think that might have been wishful thinking on my part.
