Moving Forward: Small Forward Jordan Tucker Commits to Duke

By May 13, 2017No Comments

After missing on small forward Kevin Knox the brain trust in Durham locked in on Jordan Tucker, a small forward out of Wheeler High school in Georgia. In a fast moving recruitment that saw Duke virtually jump the line in front of Syracuse and Georgia Tech, a visit soon followed Wednesday May 1oth, after the offer that was issued on Saturday.

Tucker is ranked 40th by ESPN and is a 4 star recruit by most services. Tucker and Knox are not the same player and while Knox is a more dynamic athlete Tucker is a better perimeter shooter who shoots it exceptionally well from the wing.
Duke is still hoping to gain a commitment from point guard Trevon Duval to round out a class that features Wendell Carter, Gary Trent Jr, Alex O’Connell, Jordan Goldwire and now Jordan Tucker.
