Through 9 games the Princeton Tigers have yet to crack the top hundred in any category aside from personal fouls and turnovers. The Duke Blue Devils will welcome the Tigers into Cameron after a ten day layoff. Princeton is 5 and 4 on the year with their latest streak being 1 and 1.

The Tigers are led in scoring by a tandem of guards in senior guard Devin Cannady who scores at a 21.4 point per game clip and freshman guard Jaelin Llewellyn who scores 19.5 points per game to go along with 6 assists. Cannady shoots the 3 at a 50% clip and was Second-team All-Ivy League during last years campaign.

The Blue Devils, since losing to then #1 Gonzaga, have rattled off 4 straight including a 21 point drubbing of the Indiana Hoosiers. Duke is led in scoring by freshman R.J. Barrett who averages 24.2 points per game. Barrett also adds 7.2 rebounds and 4 assists per game. Freshman forward Zion Williamson leads the Devils in rebounding with 9 per game, the 6'7 forward also averages 20.4 points per game. Tre Jones leads the Devils in assists with a 5.6 assist per game average, he also comes in at 8.8 points per game.

Once again Duke will face an older team, the Tigers start 2 seniors, 2 juniors and a freshman. The guard tandem of Llewellyn and Cannady are a tough cover both with quick first moves and and both averaging around 20 points a game. They will test Dukes perimeter defense and how the Duke bigs defend on switches. Duke will try to work towards better offensive execution. In recent press conferences Coach K has alluded to his young Devils as being a work in progress and that their best work still being ahead of them. The exam season is generally a time when teams are preoccupied and generally suffer from a lack of great execution. Duke will look to rebound from some periods of lackluster performances before heading into a big game against a ranked Texas Tech team and into the start of ACC season.
