Brian: Satchel, what would you say are the strengths of your game.
Satchel Pierce: My strengths are rebounding, blocking shots and finishing in the post.
Brian: What do you want to improve going into next year?
Satchel Pierce: I want to improve my endurance, quickness and my explosiveness
Brian: How would you describe your game?
Satchel Pierce: Physical in the post, active on the glass, and a good mid-range game.
Brian: What schools are you interested in?
Satchel Pierce: Duke – me and Grayson (Allen) could do some damage in the ACC, Maryland, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Michigan, James Madison, UCLA, Ohio State, Pitt, Penn State, MiamiU, Wichita State, , Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue and Kentucky these are just the schools that have been in contact with me, I’m still open to other schools who may call.
Brian: What schools are showing you interest currently?
All the schools I mentioned plus Cleveland State, Western Michigan, Air Force, Duquesne, Seton Hall, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Kent State and more have talked to my coaches.
Brian: What do you look for in terms of style of play in a school?
Satchel Pierce: Do they use their “bigs” and what kind of offense they run.
Brian: What’s your favorite NBA team or player?
Satchel Pierce: My favorite team is the Heat because of Lebron but I’ve always been a 76ers fan…my favorite players are Tim Duncan and Shaq.
