The Seminoles are 1 and 1 in the ACC, losing by 13 to the Virginia cavaliers and winning on a home game against the Miami Hurricanes by 6. The Seminoles, similarly to Duke boast a ver tall lineup with their shortest starter being 6'4. The Seminoles start 3 seniors, a sophomore and a junior. They boast 2 players shooting over 40% from beyond the arc in Phil Cofer who shoots 41.2% and Terance Mann who shoots 44% from beyond the arc (albeit with a small sample size).

The aforementioned Mann is the leading scorer for Leonard Hamilton's Seminoles at 11.8 points per game. Guard Trent Forrest is the leading assist man at 3.3 assists per game and 4.6 rebounds. Forrest averages 9.7 points per game.

For the Blue Devils, R.J. Barrett comes in leading the team in scoring as he has all year with 22.8 per game. He also rebounds the basketball at a 6.5 per game clip, the freshman also averages 3.8 assists per contest as well. Zion Williamson leads the Blue Devils in rebounding at 9.5 a game, he also leads the starters in field goal percentage at 67.9% from the field. Williamson averages 20.9 points and 2.4 assists per game. Tre Jones leads the Blue Devils in assists, averaging 5.9 per game to only 1 turnover. Jones also averages 8.6 points and 2 steals a game. Duke enters the ACC season leading the nation in blocked shots and are 5th in the nation in steals.

The Blue Devils are in the midst of an 8 game winning streak, and having won their first ACC road game - against Wake Forest, the Devils will face a tougher task at Florida State. The Seminoles are athletic and quick. Both come in as top 20 defenses and offenses that are capable of getting out in transition and scoring big chunks of points. With Duke having a decided edge in the starting lineup it will be interesting to see how the Duke bench plays against a Florida State team that can go 10 deep.
